The well-known Austrian theatre director and curator of music events such as ‘Glatt & Verkehrt’ was born in the Podenhaus in 1955 and has always been attached to his birthplace. The view of the imposing roof construction of the house, the simple, monolithic bar-kitchen and the dining area by the fireplace create a warm atmosphere. The cosy lounge corner complements this charming, prestigious space. Two separate bedrooms continue the generous atmosphere and have spacious built-in wardrobes. The Tauer family lived in the Podenhaus for decades and ran a flourishing trading business. This spacious family flat is dedicated to Rudolf and Maria Tauer.
